What the current evidence covers
Current provider-supplied totals describe use across 7 schools and 17,000 assessment scripts. The published white paper covers the earlier Community Schools Trust implementation between 2024 and 2026, spanning GCSE and A-level assessment. These figures are not independently audited.
How the time estimate is calculated
The estimate compares a teacher-reported 20-minute manual-marking baseline with a three-minute review allowance per script.
This is an estimate, not a directly timed end-to-end result. Preparation, scanning, upload, administration, quality checks, exception handling and training are excluded.
